Description

Developed in the 1980s by Kurt Klaus, IWC’s perpetual calendar automatically accounts for the varying lengths of months and leap years, and is easily adjusted via the crown. For the first time, this complication is now integrated into a movement from the IWC 82000 series. The Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42 displays the date, month, and day of the week across three subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. It also features a moon phase and leap year indicator. Thanks to ceramic components, the IWC-manufactured 82650 calibre with Pellaton winding system offers a 60-hour power reserve. This model features a 42 mm stainless steel case, a silver-plated dial with gold-plated hands and appliqués, and comes on a black alligator strap by Santoni.
