Description

The Portugieser Chronograph is one of the most iconic models from IWC Schaffhausen. With its compact 41 mm diameter, it fits almost any wrist. The slim bezel, however, creates the impression of a larger watch. The clear, functional dial features applied Arabic numerals and slender feuille hands. Printed with a quarter-second scale, the characteristic flange not only enables precise chronograph readings but also pays tribute to the Portugieser’s origins as a nautical precision instrument worn on the wrist. This model features a stainless steel case, a silver dial, and applied rhodium-plated hands—all mounted on a black alligator leather strap. The elegant yet sporty chronograph is powered by the IWC-manufactured 69355 calibre. Its robust and precise column-wheel construction is visible through the sapphire glass case back.
