Description

An open and well-balanced dial with the classic minute track and small seconds counter at 6 o’clock: reference IWC 325 laid the foundations for the Portugieser design in the late 1930s, a legacy that continues throughout the collection. Today, this timelessly modern design returns in a new automatic model with a compact 40 mm case. The Portugieser Automatic 40 is powered by the IWC-manufactured 82200 calibre—a robust and high-quality automatic movement equipped with the virtually wear-free Pellaton winding system made of ceramic components, offering a 60-hour power reserve. This model features an 18-carat red gold case, a silver dial, gold-plated hands and solid gold appliqués. It is paired with a brown alligator leather strap from Santoni.
