Description

For the very first time, IWC presents a Pilot’s Chronograph powered by a movement from the 69000 series, housed in a case measuring just 41 millimetres. The IWC-manufactured 69380 calibre is a robust chronograph movement with a classic column wheel design. The chronograph hours and minutes are displayed in two subdials at 9 and 12 o’clock, respectively. The bidirectional pawl winding system offers a 46-hour power reserve. The bronze case, olive green dial, and brown calfskin strap give this chronograph a unique character. Depending on use, the bronze develops a patina over time, darkening and giving the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Spitfire a distinct look. The soft-iron inner case protects the movement from magnetic fields.
