TUDOR begins the 2026 season on pole position with the Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 26”. In 2025, the Maison unveiled the “Carbon 25” chronograph, inspired by the livery of the VCARB 02 — the Formula 1® Visa Cash App Racing Bulls car. That watch marked an important milestone in TUDOR’s long history at the heart of motor sport, a saga that began in the 1960s with the TUDOR Watches Racing Team. In 2026, TUDOR is back on the starting grid with the Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 26”, paying tribute to the team’s entirely revised new car.
A racing watch carved from carbon
Carbon is the ideal material for a racing chronograph thanks to its lightness. Less weight means more speed — speed that can be measured thanks to the chronograph function of the Manufacture Calibre MT5813 and the monobloc tachymetric bezel in carbon fibre of the Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 26”. The fittings that attach the hybrid leather-and-rubber strap to the case are also made from carbon fibre — every detail counts.

The subdials and the date window are also dressed in carbon fibre, thanks to a layered dial construction alternating brass discs and carbon-fibre sheet — a purely aesthetic touch that extends the model’s technical language down to the smallest detail.
A “Racing White” dial in VCARB 03 livery
The styling of the Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 26” pays tribute to the racing car of the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls team, nicknamed VCARB 03. The bright yellow of its engine cover reappears on the dial of the “Carbon 26”, giving the model a resolutely sporty look. The domed “racing white” dial features two recessed subdials in carbon fibre, in keeping with the tradition of the earliest generations of TUDOR chronographs: a 45-minute counter and a date window at 6 o’clock.

The distinctive features of the Black Bay line are preserved: bevelled lugs, crown adorned with the TUDOR rose, and above all the famous “Snowflake” hands, signature of TUDOR’s diving watches since 1969. Here they sport a black outline and Swiss Super-LumiNova® grade A for optimal legibility in any conditions.

The Manufacture Calibre MT5813
The Manufacture chronograph Calibre MT5813 that drives the Black Bay Chrono offers hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph and date functions. With a 70-hour power reserve and a silicon hairspring, it is certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC), with performance exceeding the standards of this independent institution. Where the COSC tolerates an average daily rate variation of –4 to +6 seconds, TUDOR sets itself a tolerance of –2 to +4 seconds for the fully assembled watch.
A high-performance movement, it has been designed in the purest watchmaking tradition, with a column-wheel mechanism and vertical clutch. Derived from Breitling’s Manufacture chronograph Calibre B01, with a high-precision regulating organ developed by TUDOR and dedicated finishing, this movement stems from a long-standing collaboration between the two brands.
Limited to 2026 pieces
The “Carbon 26” series will be produced in only 2026 pieces, each bearing its unique number engraved on the PVD-treated titanium caseback — a nod to a new landmark year in the history of TUDOR and motor sport. The engraved chequered flag echoes the world of racing.
