Description

During complex aerial maneuvers in supersonic aircraft like the F/A-18, pilots are subjected to extremely high G-forces. Likewise, during long missions aboard aircraft carriers, the humid, salty sea air puts both men and materials to the test. Developed exclusively for elite US Navy pilots, the TOP GUN Chronograph incorporates robust, corrosion-resistant materials such as ceramic and titanium. For the first time, this classic model is powered by an in-house movement from the 69000 series. In addition to its chronograph function, the IWC-manufactured 69380 calibre also displays the day and date. A red small seconds hand at 6 o’clock adds a striking splash of color to the black dial. This model features a titanium case back and a black ceramic case made from zirconium oxide with an anti-reflective finish. It is fitted with a black textile strap.
